The old Nordic folklores

The project will enhance the Nordic cooperation, give the students the chance to work in an international context and to enrich their knowledge of Nordic countries and languages. The students will also be integrated into the everyday lives of their host families and have the chance of practising their oral language skills. Pictures from the Finland trip

The project will include activities before the mobilities (homepage and Facebook-group, translation contests), during the visits (studying the old Nordic folklore and creating products inspired by them) and after the visits (evaluation, publication of the products). Students products

The purpose of these activities is to make the students aware of the similarities and differences of our cultural heritages, to create new ways of learning which combine different school subjects, to motivate the learning of Nordic languages as well as to enhance Nordic cooperation on many different levels.
